The Armchair Traveler - No Place in Particular

I thought I should write a blog. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's because I wrote Moon Train Passenger Ride (shameless I know). But I thought it might be fun to randomly select different places in the world and see what I could learn. Maybe I'll find someplace to visit. At the very least I'll find a new setting for my third novel.
I promise to keep it interesting. I think the boxes we subject ourselves to, whether they're religious, political or otherwise, sometimes limit how we view other cultures. It needs to stop. It keeps our world small and stunts our growth. It prevents us from exploring. I think if you can, you should get out and see the planet. Dare to travel and take risks. Experience life and push your boundaries.
I'll be doing the majority of this from my armchair.
Nothing too fancy. Just writing about what I learn as I spin my globe once a month (yes, I have a globe in my office). We only live once. Or as Jim Morrison so aptly put it, no one here gets out alive. We may as well see what's here.
